DARCY & DUSTIN

Oh where do I even begin with these two? The wedding took place on August 21, 2010 in beautiful Panorama, BC. We were so excited to be shooting in such a gorgeous location and even more excited to be shooting for my lovely friend Darcy, who's family I grew up with and absolutely adore. We were delighted to discover that Panorama was beautiful and entirely smoke-free! There was an endless supply of breath-taking backgrounds for our photos and we were so thrilled to spend the afternoon with such a fun and very attractive wedding party. We loved every moment of Darcy and Dusty's big day. Here are a few sneak peeks from the day with many more to come!

CHRIS & CHRISTINE

We had a busy weekend with back to back weddings. Our second wedding was Chris & Christine's on August 14, 2010. It seemed like so long ago when we first met with the couple to discuss their wedding and it was finally here! We enjoyed getting to know the couple and wedding party prior to the ceremony by photographing the preparation in the hotel rooms. Following the ceremony, the entire wedding party was ready to relax and enjoy the beautiful day. We loved spending such an important day with such a fun group of people! And, I'd also like to note, that it is not everyday that a groom's speech can make the photographers cry. DiamondCake wish all the best to Chris & Christine!

JAMES & JOYCE

DiamondCake had the absolute joy of shooting Joyce & James on Friday the 13th of this month. Their beautiful wedding took place at the Pioneers Cabin which served as a gorgeous backdrop. We also had the pleasure of photographing the extremely happy couple at the bench where James proposed to Joyce. We had to battle some sun-showers following the ceremony but the rain just offered us some cute photo opportunities as James protected his new wife from the rain with his suit jacket and as the couple leisurely strolled under an umbrella. We knew instantly that this was one happy couple and their happiness was infectious among their many friends and guests. From a design perspective this was a fabulous, very well-coordinated wedding! We loved every minute of it. Thank you for including us in your special day!
